Privacy Policy

To provide services and the functionality of the dashboard properly, Hexion collects the bare minimum of required information. These strictly include:

- Discord account identifiers (User IDs).

- Server data (Server IDs, server names) and bot-specific settings (module configurations visible on the Dashboard).

- Basic event-related info, like generated logs (kept in the database memory to expose them to your panel) or Message IDs for modules like Reaction Roles.

- Patreon account data (display name, profile image, tier information and linked Discord account ID) for active supporters, obtained through the Patreon API.

- None of this data contains your 'real life' name, login email addresses, or passwords.

The collected information is directly used by the application and backend processes to:

- Process your interactions with the bot and execute expected commands on the server.

- Generate activity statistics and audit logs available directly to the local server owners.

- Save your Dashboard preferences to verify and sustain your authenticated browser session during management.

Hexion is a free and independent hobby project created by one person. Rest assured that:

- Your Discord data is NEVER sold.

- We do not share logs or the database with any advertising companies, marketing agencies, or external corporate entities.

- Access to the database is strictly limited to the sole developer of Hexion for maintenance, troubleshooting, and bug-fixing purposes.

You have the right to request the deletion of your data from the bot's logs/database. Furthermore, if you choose to kick and bar the bot from your server, your settings will naturally phase out—after a specific period, the panel structure will prune orphaned setup rules, unless you explicitly request the deletion process by contacting the developer via our support server.

Hexion integrates with the Patreon API to publicly display a list of active supporters ('Patrons') on the project's website. The following data is accessed through the Patreon API:

- Your Patreon display name and profile image.

- Your current pledge tier and active patron status.

- Your linked Discord account ID (if connected to Patreon), used solely to display your Discord avatar and display name instead of Patreon data.

This data is cached for a short period (10 minutes) and is used exclusively for the public Patrons section on the website. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for marketing. If you wish to opt out, you can disconnect Discord from Patreon or contact the developer.

The application is provided on an 'as-is' basis. Taking its hobbyist nature into account, the infrastructure administrator exercises the highest possible care to maintain proper privacy standards for the database (e.g., encrypted disks or locked local environments). Even so, the user uses the bot via a Discord connection at their own risk.
