Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Hexion Discord bot and its dashboard ("Service"). Hexion is a hobbyist project developed by an independent developer, not a corporate entity. By inviting the bot to your Discord server or logging into the dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Hexion is a free Discord bot provided on an "as is" basis. Due to the hobbyist nature of the project, we do not guarantee 100% uptime, feature reliability, or error-free operation.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the bot at any time, without prior notice.

You agree to use Hexion responsibly. You are prohibited from:

- Using the bot for activities that violate external regulations such as Discord Terms of Service or Discord Community Guidelines.

- Intentionally exploiting bugs to cause service instability.

- Distributing spam, malicious links, or inappropriate content through the bot.

Hexion reserves the right to restrict access for any user or server that violates these terms of service. Restrictions may be temporary or permanent.

Reasons for bans include, but are not limited to:

- Violating Discord Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

- Abusing bot features (command spam, intentionally causing errors, exploits).

- Unauthorized access attempts to the management dashboard (auto-ban after 5 attempts within an hour).

- Using the bot to distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content.

- Attempting to circumvent existing bans (e.g., creating new accounts to bypass a ban).

Types of bans: Temporary ban — access is restored after the designated time period expires. Permanent ban — access is permanently revoked.

Appeals: For permanent bans, you may submit an appeal by contacting us on the official Hexion Discord server. The administration's decision is final.

As this is a hobby project, the creator of Hexion shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages, including data loss (e.g., loss of settings, reset of levels), or server issues arising from the use of the bot.

Hexion uses the Patreon API to display a public list of active supporters on its website. By becoming a Patreon supporter, you acknowledge that your Patreon display name, profile image, tier, and linked Discord account data may be publicly displayed.

This integration is provided as a courtesy feature and does not constitute a contractual obligation. Supporter status and tier assignment are determined solely by the Patreon platform.

We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently block access to the bot and dashboard for any user or server, at our sole discretion, in cases of service abuse.
